Offering $6,500 annually, Mu Pi chapter is proud to have scholarship opportunities for both non-brother potential members and current brothers. The Mu Pi chapter is also instrumental in helping brothers apply for and win VCU and external scholarships throughout their time as an undergraduate.

Courageous Leaders Scholarship

The CLS is a $2,000 direct deposit scholarship offered to non-members as a means of promoting the values of the chapter and encouraging recruitment. Awarded semesterly, the application can be submitted below.

Persistence Scholarship

Sought after nationally, the Persistence Scholarship is a $2,500 award granted annually to current brothers with demonstrable financial need. 95 winners are selected nationally from all chapters.

Via the Scholarship Hub, applying for internal scholarships within VCU is easy and is taken advantage of by many of our members. Our scholarship chair often assists members in finding and applying to opportunities ranging from $500 to full-rides.

Graduate Brother Endowed Scholarship

The Undergraduate chapter is currently in the process of raising funds for a graduate brothers endowed scholarship to be awarded to an undergraduate or undergraduates. More information can be obtained from the Graduate Relations Chair.

Essay 1 (3000 Characters): Define the words Friendship, Knowledge, Service, Morality, and Excellence. Describe which of these 5 values you best represent in your daily life and explain how you believe each of the words can serve as a guide to daily action.

Essay 2 (3000 Characters): Rank the terms Scholarship, Fraternity, and Self. Describe what these three terms mean to you and why you ranked them the way you did. Include your future goals for yourself, the future goals you would have for this fraternity, and your future academic goals.

Essay 3 (3000 Characters): Read the quote below. Explain its importance and what each part of the quote means to you. Contextualize the impact of the quote within you own life, and describe the personal changes it may inspire in yourself.
